Holtz probably gave him lesons in basic schooling; reading, writing, math, etc. But when his reality/memory was altered, it changed. He was in public school with his sister, eventually graduating high school and taking some classes at Stanford. Family: Angel - Father, umm.. undead. Darla - Mother, dead. Completely dead. staked self so kid could be born. Daniel Holtz - Stepfather, dead. Raised Connor in a Hell dimension. Lawrence Reilly - Father, living.. from new reality. Colleen Reilly - Mother, living, also from this reality. Susan Reilly - Sister living. Child of "new" parents. Friends: Angel, Cordelia Chase, Wesley Wyndam-Price, Fred Burkle/Illyria, Charles Gunn Occupation: College student, hunter Previous Employment: Destroyer Known Likes: He likes pizza, vending machine snacks, soda, and.. he really likes girls. Especially older women. Known Dislikes: He doesn't really like to fight, although he will if he has to. He's not fond of the idea of saving the world, fightng off countless demons all his life, when there's others who can do it just fine. But if the life of a friend or relative is put in danger, than rest assured that he will step in and kick some ass. He also doesn't appreciate being deceived or lied to. Fears: His greatest fear would probably be losing his new family. True, they're not really his parents, but they fully believe he is their son. He feels norma (and safe) with them. A lesser fear would be them finding out what he really was, or what kind of parents he truly came from. This is one of those things when the truth is better left in the dark. Powers: Connor possesses the typical abilities of a vampire without any of their weaknesses: superhuman strength, speed, durability, recuperation, and senses. The limits of Connor's superhuman strength have not been determined. He has been bested in battle by both Faith Lehane and his father, however this may just be a question of skill and maturity. However, he was stronger than most vampires. In addition to his native powers, Connor was trained by his foster father, Holtz, in hunting and in both unarmed and armed combat (this training was later improved by Angel). Weaknesses: He can take a lot of damage, so it's not know what his limits are. A speeding van left no mark on him.. or if there were any, they healed very fast. He can be bested, and probably killed by someone of greater power. He can still be cut or shot, it's just a question of getting the chance to do so. History: Info taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connor_%28Angel%29. Connor was born in November 2001 in Los Angeles, California, a "miracle" human child of two vampires, Angel and Darla. Connor was introduced in season three's "Lullaby". His vampire mother, Darla, unable to physically give birth, staked herself in order for him to be born (as a vampire, staking herself caused her body to turn to a fine ash immediately, leaving the newborn Connor more or less unscathed and out of the womb.) For the first few months of his life, Connor became a part of the Angel Investigations family; jointly raised by the entire group at The Hyperion Hotel. Connor was prophesied to murder the time-shifting demon Sahjhan. In an effort to negate the prophesy and save his own life, Sahjhan traveled back and forth through time and rewrote the prophecy to read: "The father will kill the son". Shocked and worried for the baby's safety with his own father, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce kidnapped the baby and planned on taking him away from Angel permanently, in order to save his life. However, before he had the chance to leave Los Angeles, the vampire hunter Daniel Holtz ordered his lackey Justine to slit Wesley's throat and take Connor as vengeance for Angel's murder of his own family. After complications involving the lawyers at Wolfram & Hart, who wanted the miracle baby to dissect it, Holtz ran into a dimensional portal into the hellish world of Quor-Toth with Connor in his arms. Time ran more quickly in Quor-Toth and Connor aged at an accelerated rate; forced to constantly fight for his life in a violent, demonic dimension. Holtz told him tales about 'Angelus'; Angel's soulless vampiric persona. This effectively turned him against his true father and Connor grew to despise him. Mere days had passed since his disappearance in Los Angeles when Connor (called "The Destroyer" by beings in Quor-Toth) suddenly returned, now nearly eighteen years old. He had discovered a rift in the dimension and was transported into the lobby of the Hyperion Hotel with one goal: to kill Angel. Conflict and confusion were abundant as Connor adjusted to L.A. and was further manipulated by Holtz, who had followed him back into this reality. Eventually, under his own plan, Holtz was killed by Justine in a manner that framed Angel. Enraged, Connor (with help from Justine) sealed Angel in a box and sunk him to the bottom of the ocean. Meanwhile, Connor lived on his own, slowly learning to fight the good fight under Fred and Gunn's supervision. Upon Angel's return, relations were still shaky, yet slowly improved. Due to his difficult upbringing, Connor found it hard to develop emotional attachments to people, yet he formed a close bond with Cordelia. When a demon known as The Beast rose from the ground in the very same place that he had been born, Connor felt responsible and as fire rained from the sky, he sought solace in Cordelia's arms. Unknown to him, and to everyone else, was the fact that Cordelia was under the control of a powerful entity who sought dominion over the human race, and who for years had been orchestrating events in order to be fully brought forth into the world. Their night of passion, then, had serious repercussions as it allowed the arrival of Jasmine, an ambiguously evil goddess from another dimension who brought joy and hope to all she encountered. Unfortunately, whilst everyone basked in the glory of Jasmine, Connor did not feel the same inner peace and was left with untold loneliness and isolation, struggling with his inner demons and weary of the constant fight against demons and vampires; all he wanted was to rest. This ultimately led him into a desperate situation where he was willing to hurt not only himself but take others with him. In a final act of love, Angel agreed to take over Wolfram & Hart in exchange for his son's life: Connor would have a whole new existence as an ordinary boy raised in a happy family. Connor died, killed by Angel's own hand, so that he could be "reborn" into his new life. Other than Angel (and Cordelia, and "for some reason, Eve,") everyone's memories were rewritten to accommodate this new reality. He became Connor Reilly, the eighteen-year old son of Lawrence and Colleen Reilly. However, Connor was destined to cross Angel's path again. One day at Wolfram & Hart, Angel had a pair of new clients: Mr. and Mrs. Reilly. They came to Angel because Connor was hit by a van and had no injuries whatsoever. Soon after, Connor's family was attacked by demons. Having no other choice, Angel informed Connor of his special abilities, but left out that he was his father. As fate designed it, the attacks were not random occurrences. Cyvus Vail, the demon architect of Connor's new life, drew Connor out on purpose. Under threat of returning Connor's memories, Vail forced Angel to have Connor fight one of his enemies: Sahjhan. Connor agreed to the fight, but was outmatched. Meanwhile, Wesley discovered Angel's deception and encountered him at Vail's. No longer trusting Angel, he shattered the Orlon Window, an artifact holding Connor's original memories, which upon breaking restored the memories of everyone in near range and enabled Connor to kill Sahjhan. Angel's world no longer being his own, Connor said goodbye and returned to his family. On the eve of Angel's final battle with the Circle of the Black Thorn, he visited Connor for coffee, where Connor revealed that he knew Angel was his father and was grateful for all he had done for him. Later, when Angel fought Hamilton, Connor showed up to fight by his father's side. As the Senior Partners begin to exact their vengeance, Angel told him to go home and that as long as Connor was all right, the Partners can never destroy him. ************** Character DISCLAIMER: This is an rp.
